For a week one of my 3 dogs has a swollen/puffy eye she keeps it shut. I'm assuming eye infection???

I have pennicilin, axoxacillin and cipro should i give her one of those 3?

If it stays like that for a few more days i will take her to the vet.

With how rapid some infections can spread I would vet the dog now.

Waiting might cause further damage, or damage to her eye or possibly death.

I would take her to a vet and get it checked out, and get meds specifically for her and her infection. If it is a bacterial infection, and you give her antibiotics that kill some of it, but not all of it, its bad news. That's how bacteria morphs into strands that are resistant to antibiotics.

Yesterday it was looking better.............today after work puffy again.

$230 later after checking with a dye for scratches in the eye and a shot of a anti inflamatory .

Left with a antibiotic eye creme and a pain medicine.
