My buddy owns a machine shop where they repair, build, retrofit CNC machines. My question is this...Are they firearm accessories that he can machine for thing that go bang without scrutiny from BATF. I'm thinking things like hand guards, picatinny rails, scope mounts, flash hiders ect. I look at the price of some of this stuff and I'm thinking he could machine a lot of this stuff at a reasonable price. Ok, I do have ulterior motive of getting my stuff for free or at least really cheap.
Come on guys give me your honest ideas and opinions if this would worth while. I want to stay legal, not interested in soap on a rope if you know what  I mean. No pokey in the pokey!!

i believe you can make anything you want as long as its not a serialized receiver (the firearm part of the gun)

you can even make receivers..  as long as you make them and are for personal use.

Or suppressors.  You don't want to make those.  You can make a receiver for yourself if you do all the work IIRC.  You can't make for others.  It cannot be capable of full auto fire.  Also, anything that would be particular to a full auto FCG.

The Feds are serious.
