I was lucky enough to have been interviewed by Paul Shin of ABCNews.com for an online article about YouTube gun channels. He specifically stated that he wanted to write an article to counter all of the negative press that the firearms community gets, and I think he did a great job.
We are rightfully very vocal when the media gets it wrong. Please take the time to comment on the story to let ABCNews.com know how much we appreciate it when they get it right. [Note: My channel is TWANGnBANG.] http://abcnews.go.com/US/youtubes-rising-gun-video-stars/story?id=21519909 |

It might just be a start, but it is a great start. The reporter was really enjoyable to talk to, and he understood the media conflict from our perspective. He was born in Korea, raised in London, and now works in NYC.
He is now a happy subscriber of all of the channels featured in the article, and he was keen to know the impact on my subscriber numbers (a nice bump, but not earth shattering). I plan to keep in touch with him and see if the pro-2nd Amendment side can get more legs there. |

Cool! I'll throw in a subscribe! While I have only watched your video on the ABC page, do you have any NFA warnings for the newbies that may watch your YouTube page? I don't mean to harp, but some folks that I have run into that are getting into firearms think that SBR"s, SBS's, suppressors, and FA conversions are A okay without complying with the NFA (for the record, I have no love for the NFA or the ATF). They are apparently very ill informed. There's an ad in American Rifleman regarding Glock conversions to SBR's that don't have a "NFA Rules Apply" statement. I would hate to see new gun owners get caught up for offenses that they are ignorant of. With that said, nice job again!!! |
