Just jerkin your chain...we have 4 seasons; many gun lovers/manufacturers; some of the best hunting in the US; free state gun laws; and very long summer days (stays light just up until about 11:00). Plus, I am a Cali transplant, too! Damn do I hate California. I was from the Los Angeles area. I've visited twice since I left 7 years ago. Every time I go back, I feel like I need to bring my "papers." I also always have to triple check all of the gun gear I bring in is "California legal." Packed your shit yet? |

Texas. Sure, our weather sucks often. Most of the state isn't that pretty. Some of our cities are quite ugly. The Cowboys suck, but then most people in Texas don't care.
Texas isn't perfect. But I can't imagine being anything except a Texan. It is a great place to live free and bitch often. |

Most Americans are born in the "best" state. Their mother's carefully delivering them into the best location ... just like their mothers did and their mothers before them. Travel. Don't be scared you can always go back to your "best" state. Study math. Lots of your conclusions don't add up - the simple math doesn't work. |
