I have a GE Adora dryer (HE style) that won't consistently dry clothes.  If we set it for 40 mins, it will stop drying abt the 20th minute and kick back on/off sev more times.  Occasionally it will dry the clothes in one cycle, but then the next load of clothes will go through this again.  It won't consistently run on any cycle even the dewrinkle cycle...  It this a temperature sensor of some sort?  Easy fix? Any other ideas/suggestions?

I tried google but didn't find much...

Clogged exhaust vent/lint trap causing thermal fuse to trigger?

Tried that. We pulled out the dryer. Took a rope, forced it through the vent, tied a rag to the middle of it and worked it back and forth to dislodge anything. Took a leaf blower and blew out the rest.

I fixed my maytag performa - it was a blown thermal cut off fuse.
Sounds complicated but google your dryer and look for repair vids.
Buy the parts at a local repair place.
Nothing to it really watching step by step vids while you do it.
