[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Subscribed threads question

I was cleaning out some of my subscribed threads and I noticed I can not unsubscribe from Locked Threads
Do these Locked threads stay forever?

Why would you want to unsubscribe from a locked thread? Those are the best ones.
