Ice storm... Power out since 20:30.
Youngest daughter's ipad down to 77% battery power. We have half a pan of pumpkin spice muffins left and enough leftover pizza from lunch to last the night... After that, who knows.. can anyone tell me how to field dress a poodle? Wife had yo ask "does the toilet still work?" Yes dear... We don't have electric toilets. This may be the last Arfcom will ever hear from "Girlieman". |

She has a point with the toilets. Electric down at the well or electric down at the sewer lift. Either way , eventually no toilet works or it overflows. Which will come first? Tell me at least you have a backup gen set and a septic system. Technically, the toilet would not have failed in either situation |

| Dust the poodle with Tony Chaceres Cajun seasoning for the win...use gloves...they have an anal gland at the base of their tails that can squirt you down pretty scandalously if your not careful...smells like a cross between poodle puss and an month old dead cat...stew them until soft...cut up some potatos and onions and tell the wife and kids its Texas chili...no beans... |

This needs to be in the Survival forum. So the OP could have an extremely detailed explanation of everything he did wrong. And they have some really good poodle recipes. I think poodle cooking thread is on page 3 or 4 at last check. Was that the dutch oven poodle thread or the rotisserie poodle thread? |

Ice storm... power out... Wife had yo ask "does the toilet still work?" Yes dear... We don't have electric toilets. The water pump is likely electric though. Your picture lacking wife had a good question. Quoted:
How much alcohol do you have on hand? That will determine survival likelihood. I have lots, because it's an ice storm and I'm waiting to lose power. Candles, lamp, and flashlights ready to go, propane heat itching to go, and. A. Bathtub. Full of. Water. And a bucket. It ain't that hard to flush a toilet. |

I live in Florida. What is this 'ice storm' you speak of? Mid 70s and clear today..... It's like a hurricane. But with ice. I have never seen ice outside of a glass or cooler. comprehension NOT achieved.
