This last summer, I dragged my camper down to Assateague Island for a few days. Upon leaving to head for the next campground, it poured rain, like a double cunted cow pissing on a flat rock. I noticed several other cars on the road with me with their emergency flashers on. Why? In Mass. you're only allowed to use your flashers to warn other driver that you're broken down on the side of the road or by a commercial vehicle climbing a hill and going slower than 45 mph. Is this something different for Maryland?

Many people in MD are just morons...

ETA..... Meaning they don't know what to do in anything other than perfect weather, so they just keep trucking along with their hazards on "for safety"

This.  Fucking sprinkles result in 95/beltway going down to 30mph

I want to run those suckholes off the road when they do that hazard light shit.  If you lack the confidence to drive in those conditions, pull over until it passes.

Honestly, this is exactly what I figured. First time I'd ever seen it, though. Not even Mass drivers do this and they've got to be some of the biggest morons around.

Drivers in Ga. do it . It is a warning to other drivers that they have no skills

Maryland had the worst drivers in the road. Daily wrecks, traffic jams, retardedness.

We have big electronic sign on our highways to warn of traffic back ups...I can't tell you how many times I've sat in backed up traffic because everyone slammed on the brakes to read the sign that said, "No delays thru exit #whatever".

Makes you want to just start punching things

while I agree that md has the worst drivers in the country, many areas of the shore can flood quickly in the rain. side streets especially.

in fact, a low pressure day, the right moon, and an inshore breeze at high tide, and my yard is underwater along with a couple miles of road before you get to the state highway.

md drivers tend to go 10-15 over the speed limit everywhere. if you dont you end up causing a rolling backup. the flashers just mean "sorry im only doing the speed limit, my wipers need to be replaced".
