Sitting here early morning watching tv as I can't sleep.   In the last hour that stupid intrusive EAS test has gone off 4 times in the last hour.   What is up with that?   Is there someone you can call to complain?  I mean like is there someone sitting there pushing a button to interfere with every station?  Laughing!  It's a weekly required test, no hour quarterly.

Well since the message says it's a "Weekly required test" I doubt it's real.

We have the same issue here. It does go off every 15 minutes for an hour, sometimes longer. It also happens weekly, though sometimes twice a week. Its always listed as a "test". They seem to time it when you find the one interesting show on the pos they call cable tv. I remember hearing last year that it was because now Homeland Security or other agency was taking over or synchronizing the system to relay all types of catastrophes besides weather Don't know if its true. All I know is its aggravating, and its teaching me to not even look at the damn tv when it comes on. Guess someone never heard the story about the boy crying wolf.
