It may just keep the car running and bring a battle pack or two --you may need to shoot your way back out.Id have him come meet you rather than carry cash in that neighborhood.Theres a gunshow in Middletown (OC Fairground)today and sunday I'd do the transfer there IMHO. GL

Then EBay might decide to allow gun auctions since they make a profit from each sale!

If we can sell receivers, since they are not considered firearms by EBay, can I post an ad on EBay selling a Colt pre-ban parts kit, 99.9% complete-- missing the cleaning brush, hi-cap magazine, or something?

Don't forget those 10-rd. drums that one guy was selling on Ebay... [;)] or those "100 rd. ammunition storage devices" another guy was selling on Ebay...

From the eBay rules and reg.s:

The receiver is not a firearm as classified by law. See U.S. Code Title 18, Section 921

That means you CAN sell it in parts.

Nice selective snip there.  Let's take a look at the complete text of the rule you butchered to come up with that:

" Blank guns, replica or imitation guns, paintball guns and "airsoft" guns may be listed provided that:

   * The item does not, and cannot be readily altered, to shoot a projectile (except for paintball guns or "airsoft" guns.)
   * The receiver is not a firearm as classified by law. See U.S. Code Title 18, Section 921
* The replica or imitation gun has the legal markings required by law AND Blank ammunition is not included in the sale. See U.S. Code Title 15, Section 5001 "

I guess you must have been trolling.

The lady is correct.  Mrs. Johnson is pointing out something that I obviously skipped over in the middle of the night, while under the influence.

Thank you ma'am - its women like you who I appreciate...the details don't pass them by.

[red] ARE YOU TRYING TO START TROUBLE, BUB?

Let me explain something to you.

the C in 'cmjohnson' stands for  CHRISTOPHER.

There's a good sized batch of "meat and taters" hanging between my legs, and they've been there all along.

[/red]

Maybe I should change my screen name...

Maybe use The Red Guy...

CJ...definitely, totally male.

You could PROBABLY try to sell a complete AR if you put a big orange cap on the muzzle and list it as a non-firing REPLICA...

Just make sure that everything else in the description would let a possible bidder know that it isnt.
