I know I'm setting myself up, but I can take it

I have a picture I took of one of my employees and I this summer and I'd like to give it to him as a Christmas Gift

I'm curious as to if anything can be done to what I think is a little overexposure/too much sunlight

His name is Bob, he has taught me damn near everything I know about running a chainsaw, Vietnam Vet, Logger for 30 years and now works part-time for the Forest Service, BEST EMPLOYEE EVER

Thanks for the help!

1st rule of a photoshop thread is that you are never to provide what the OP requested.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I gave it a go:

Problem is when the camera saves the picture it gets rid of the overexposed data. So you can't really edit it back in.

It is truly a sad fucking day when a photoshop request gets taken seriously in the first 15 pages.

Put a search query into Google Images that I'd never imagine doing:

"chainsaw carved penis"

Results were less than impressive.

You can't really clean up the parts that are completely overexposed, but I did manage to adjust the contrast and colors properly.

If you pull the exposure slider and the highlight slider down.
the histogram is probably too far right.
It's not too far gone that it's washed out and unsaveable
if you want to pm me your email I can see if I can help you get it
Hopefully it's a larger file size and attach the original file before you adjusted it
Daytona955i is on the right track, The original file might adjust better

So, uh, keep up the good work?

This is Arfcom GD, doing the actual requested Photoshppery shouldn't happen until page 3 or 4 on average.

We dropped the ball today. It's a sad day for America.

Well I did a rare photoshop but after reviewing the COC didn't post it.
