Searching my local Craigslist in the "free" section and found this:

http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/zip/4229248162.html

Had some beers, said "let's build a deck", bought a bunch of wood, completed deck,
deck looked like shit, tore up deck/wood, and now my garage is filled with all the wood. Wood has been cut/screwed, and tore up. Not sure what to do with it. Opps.

When warms up and dries up I have to jack one end of the deck of my dad's apartment building. Assclowns who built it before we bought it thought footers were optional. I am going to have to reinforce the deck, install appropriate hangers, reinforce the legs and build a new set of steps. Most of which I have never done before. I am spending a good deal of my days looking over the DIY sites and reading on how to do this shit.

If I did not already did have renters in the building I would get a backhoe and knock the fucker down, drag it's remains to gravel parking lot and burn the fucker. I believe that it would be easier for me to build a whole new deck than repair the fucker.

A few beers always leads to the best DIY construction projects.

I gave away my old 12x8.5 shed in late October.

Completely disassembled it with the taker and they hauled it all away.

I made out on that one.  Free.  For both of us!
