| i asked in the glock forum but got no response....heres the deal i have a g21sf gen 3 bought back in august.it has a nib coated slide.the douche i bought it from said the coating was a factory deal.like a dummy i believed him.now ive had it to the range 3 times and all 3 times ive experienced issues with it.ftf being the most common as well as stove pipe.ive tried 3 different mags and 3 different ammo and got the same issue.testerday i thought i would run some better quality ammo thru it,so i bought some pmc 185 gr jhp.right away..ftf.....then i tried remington ball...a few mags into it i got a failure to completly close into battery.....so what to do with it.i called glock...they seemed like dicks...want me to pay for shipping and a inspection...or do i just be a dick and armslist it??to be the hoser or hosee! |

Am I in before the guys telling OP he should have bought a 1911. You made it but seriously, op should have. He obviously doesn't know he has a ticking time bomb
on his hands just waiting to blow up of it for you. eta: dang it! missed it by that much. |

Stock Glock barrel? I don't see how any slide coating could cause FTF, unless it's too thick in the barrel lock up area and that should be easy enough to remedy. Fail to feed is usually somewhere in the extractor or ramp/chamber IF the mags are good and seated properly. Sometimes a heavier recoil will help with chambering, but that's just a bandaid IMHO.

Sometimes when you buy a used gun, you buy somebody else's problem.
If he NiB'ed the slide (and lied about it on top of it), who knows what else he did. It seems like you're mad that Glock won't pay the shipping to look at a gun that somebody deliberately messed with. You're out of line. I'd either pay to ship it to Glock for them to take a look at it or pay a local gunsmith to look at it. Caveat emptor. |
| Thanks for the replys..to clarify .I bought this gun from a guy brand new unfired.he is a glock armorer.im just pissed because any other brand of gun that ive had to send in, the maker sentt me a shipping label.I just thought with glock being high end that they would do the same. |

Glock isn't high end. They are a big name. |

If the guy's a Glock armorer, call him. Be nice. Ask him if there's anything he can do. If not, just pay Glock to check it out. Shit happens. It ain't worth losing sleep over a $100 repair. |

i would have sworn they were high end....i mean ruger sends a prepaid label? Glock makes 1 firearm, 1/2 of it is plastic... and some T-shirts...in a few sizes. Ruger makes many types of firearms. Long guns, semi autos, revolvers, carbines, shotguns, does castings for many other manufacturers Which one would be high-end again? |
