More like buy it at the current price, make some sacrifices in other areas to offset the cost.

Because expensive ammo.

Still deals to be had. I've bought a few hundred pounds of ammo since the panic and pay less than normal for most.

I'm still reloading it for way less than you can buy it.

I've been getting .223 for around .38/.39 per round after shipping, but anywhere I've seen local is more than that after tax even without shipping.

I am trying to buy what I can when I can since the prices are fairly sane again, the results from the sandy hook investigation come out this afternoon, I wonder just how much that will stoke the fire?? or will it just pass like in other news snippet.

I bought mine & filled a bunker around 2004-2006 when I was shooting 3 gun matches...   and then got back into building motorcycles and my machine shop and pretty much only shot reloads (and not frequently)

fast forward 6 years... and I'm selling my inner city home in two months, moving to a rural farm in a month...

between my boulder collection, my machine tool collection, and my ammo fort...   moving should be a really good workout

(I'll get to shoot at the new farm)

I only have about 1500 left to reload then I'll be out of cases and bullets  I have to replenish my stockpile quickly.  However, I'm set on primers and powder
