| Hey guys I have a question for you pros out there. So I have my BCM midi which is awsome and the best ar I have owned (even prefered over my ak) question is I have around 4000 rounds through it now and I have a brand new BCM bolt for when (if) the stock one breaks. I shoot twice a week and average 1000 rounds per month. I want to squeeze every last bit of life out of the hammer forged barrel too so when the bolt finally does break is it ok to check headspace first of course and the install the new bolt and keep on shooting my normal schedual or can a new bolt on an oldish barrel where the extension faster causing headspace to grow? I know on Filthy 14 the bolt broke around 15,000 rounds so they installed a new bolt and shot over 15,000 more rounds. I should be able to do the same right? |
