All hair force guys go in that door. When they all go in, they all look the same, but when they come out, they all look deeferent.

They all look scared.

Excellent film.

"There was a demon that lived in the air.
They said whoever challenged him would die.
Their controls would freeze up, their planes would buffet wildly, and they would disintegrate.
The demon lived at Mach 1 on the meter, seven hundred and fifty miles an hour, where the air could no longer move out of the way.
He lived behind a barrier through which they said no man could ever pass.
They called it the sound barrier."

When my son was 3, I bought that movie and put it away for when he's old enough to understand what America once was, and that American Exceptionalism really did exist.

It still exists in the hearts, minds, hands, and prayers of men and families that live up to the standard.  We still have it pretty darn good. I work with exceptional Americans.

Though, I would love to see us doing notable things like conquering space again as a whole, rather than solely as individuals.
