Do you believe that a dog can find it's owner 1000s of miles away?

Do you believe they can sense upcoming events? (danger)

I think it has been proven they can smell disease and body changes like heart attacks and what not.

Or are they limited to a god sense of smell.

Animals have superior senses, I'm not sure how those play out.

If they're doing it, it's not impossible.

The disease/owner thing could well be scent.  Their sense of smell is difficult to fathom.  I know "god sense of smell" is a typo, but it's also kind of accurate.

I can't explain the "lost pet reports up ahead of earthquake" phenomenon, but yeah - dogs can sense some shit we can hardly imagine.

I tried to train my dog to leave before she farts. I did succeed in training her to leave AFTER she farts.

Dogs are wondrous creatures.

I always thought a dog's ability to lick its own balls was doing the impossible.

I truly think animals can "sense" something is going to happen. The neighbors dogs laid in front of my Mom and Dad's door and would not move the night my Dad died. When he died they got up and went home.

The cat that had shown up at their house several years before died the same night.

I believe suicidal deer know when cars are coming.

It's hard to compare because a dog's nose works nothing like our nose.

We walk into a room and smell pizza. Dogs smell flour (down to the particular type of flour), salt & what ever trace elements in the salt, water + Trace elements, yeast, tomatoes, oregano, garlic, basil, onion, sugar, ect ect.

They can't just smell better, they also smell totally different.

Alaska has a lot of small quakes, every time my dog would get up, look at me and bark, thirty or so seconds later there would be a good sized tremor.

Not just the dog, the cat would jump up and run under a piece of furniture the same time the dog would react.

It was both of them that could sense the impending motion.
