So things are tight I am trying to decide on what things to cut. I decided a few days ago that our direct tv service could no longer be funded. To solve the problem I went to Lowes and purchase 10 2X4's and two sheets of drywall (cost me about $100)  and constructed a wall in front of the tv. We can longer see said tv so I am saving about $75 a month right? Oh yea... FBHO

I use rabbit ears, so my TV is free.

Fortunately, I don't watch much TV.

But yes, you are saving money.  Could have saved more by simply turning the TV around 180 degrees.

Well I tried putting up cones and barricades with signs that said that the tv was shut down but the kids kept turning it on and watching it anyway. I had to take it the next level.
