| Recently picked up an iPad mini, would like suggestions for a case. I use an otterbox for my iPhone but I was looking for something a little more low profile, but still covering the back and front. What all are you guys using? |

I use a cheapo plastic thing from amazon on the back, and the apple magnet thingy on the front.
Been like that for six months or so. I'm happy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009WYJD5I/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Thanks! I have the Smart Cover, I was looking for something that would cover the rear camera. This might just work Quoted:

Just couldn't pass it up for the price. It's been on since I bought it. |

I'm using a Lifeproof nuud right now on an iPad, with a Zagg shield on the front. I like it a lot. It is supposedly waterproof as there is a gasket around the top bezel which seals against the iPad glass. I have no intention of swimming with it though. Screen is slightly degraded with the Zagg on it, but the trade off in protection is definitely worth it.
It sounds like the Fre is very similar to the iphone cases Lifeproof makes. I use a Lifeproof on an iPhone 4. My main complaint is that the clear plastic screen protector does not sit flush to the screen. Because of that when you type there is slight movement in the cover. It makes an audible click and is less precise than my other phone with a Zagg on it. I can only guess at how much more flex a cover the size of an iPad or mini would have. Plus those plastic covers are more reflective and cause in my opinion more screen degradation. |

Hide your iPad in plain sight. Nobody looks twice at "just a book". The magnet feature to sleep/wake your iPad also works really well. |

What all are you guys using? Maybe it doesn't matter to you but the iPad mini 2 is about to be revealed in a week. You might want to wait as it will be a substantial upgrade. Patrick |

If I had an iPad I would want a magpul case. I just looked and magpul doesn't make them yet, but they should.
I've used magpul cases on my 3,4s, and now my 5s iPhones and have loved all those cases. Really well designed and well made inexpensive products that last. |
