The Spartans ended a 35-game Mississippi Valley Conference losing streak with a 27-6 win over Aquinas on Friday night. The last league victory for Sparta came back on October 5th, 2007 when they defeated Holmen 47-21. It also ended a 20-game overall losing streak. A balanced rushing attack that saw no player go for more than 100 yards rolled up more than 300 rushing yards. |
