Hey all,
Ive been looking everywhere, online and offline and I cant seem to find a certain allen wrench. I need to find an wrench that is bent into a circle or "eyed" on one end so that it will fit onto a key chain. One person at my business but he doesnt remember who gave it to him or where he bought it. ANy ideas? I would prefer to not bend my own. |

Buy a cheap folding set at Lowe's and take the one you need off. Genius! However, nowhere near as sexy as finding and acquiring a specialty tool! I dont want to do this though, only because I need 5-7 of them to give them to staff, so buying 7 sets and dismantling them is really wasteful. |

Doors with exit devices can be unlocked by pushing in the bash bar and turning a hex wrench in a hole. It's called dogging the door. You can see the hole on the right in this picture: http://securedlock.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Commercial-Hardware.jpg Quoted:

This way staff can carry the wrenches on key chains so noone is out of luck if all the normal wrenches are gone and doors need to be locked or unlocked from the inside. |

Now that I know such a thing exists, I might buy a couple for my office as well. |
