Security patrol person in the car fell asleep, ran into the back of the F-15. Since she err, the security patrolman was asleep her head was slumped over so she didn't lose it.

Of all the ways to wreck a military career... Not only did you fall asleep at your post, you rammed a multi-million dollar jet fighter with your patrol car...

Well, unless you can find Crown Vics on carriers (I doubt Ford would meet the Navy's reliability standards), it probably won't...

Its only a kill if she has someone else confirm it :)

As for it never happening on a carrier, the best stories I've ever heard from the flight deck involve an overweight slovenly female deckhand who caught a draft from an E2C going to full power and ended up bouncing down the flight deck and into the Indian Ocean. A trailing destroyer picked her up. She was Section Eighted a week later.

Like that couldn't happen to a man?

I remember footage of a dumbass deckhand stepping in front of the intake of an EA-6 and getting sucked in.

Stupid people don't last long without nannies, regardless of sex.

Where did I say it was because of her gender that it happened? Of course it could happen to a man, a skinny black man, or a fat asian guy, or even a ben-affleck-looking white dude. But as it happened, it was a fat chick. Whats the big deal?

Loosen up guy and put the NOW card away

I heard that this particular car-F15 incident was caused when the driver leaned over to retrieve an errant cell phone on the floor of the car, and at a very bad moment.

Regarding the guy who got sucked into the EA-6:  Was he exhausted afterwards?  [:D]

If you've never worked on the roof do me a favor and shut up, if you have you will understand what long hours and a high op-temp do to people.  I'm not saying that there aren't stupid people doing stupid stuff (thats why the galley has TAD billets), I've had my heart in my mouth once or twice and I'm far from a dumb-ass.  Walk out from behind the Island during flight ops one time and then talk.
