Did a search and didn't find anything, though I find that hard to believe...
Movie was excellent. Don't waste your time with a regular theater go to an IMAX. It was fucking awesome. Those of you with heart problems you will die. First movie in an extremely long time that made my BPM go through the roof. Awesome visuals. *****Be warned there are SPOILERS in this thread***** |

I can't get past the fact that it requires about 3x the total fuel load on a shuttle to change the orbital path from the Hubble to the ISS without impacting at about 670m/s.
The MMU the male astronaut was using was retired in 1984. The airlock only holds 2 people at once so it's impossible to have 3 people outside at the same time due to the suits life support suit duration vs length of time spent in airlock pre-breathing before exiting. 3 people outside = one person has the bends. If it was as they show in the movie, Columbia could have made it to the ISS and not burned up on re-entry. |

I know Sandra Bullock is considered an old woman now, but back in the day I held her firm breasts in my hands. True story. ![]() Pix or it didn't happen. She's fucking smoking in Gravity. Jesse James screwed up fucking her over. She's going to win an Oscar for this film. |

Just saw it on regular 3D. Good movie. Will I buy it when it comes out on Bluray?...Probably not. I have just one question. Why the hell was Carrot Top in the space shuttle? ETA: Probably the best CGI ever in a movie. Quoted:

ETA: Probably the best CGI ever in a movie. Seen on a traditional movie screen, Gravity looks like a near triumph, compromised just slightly by the tidiness of its dramatic trajectory. Stretch the film across a bigger canvas, however, and those flaws become tiny specks, dwarfed by the enormity of Cuarón’s aesthetic achievement. Put more simply: To see the movie on anything smaller than an IMAX screen is to not see it at all. Pony up to the extra cost and prepare to be wowed. Pure wonder is worth splurging on. IMAX 3D is where it's at. |
