What are the hunting laws regarding Furries?

I assume once in full costume they are fair game.

I'm checking right now for the tag needed on my hunting license. Though I suppose they could be considered a nuisance animal and it's open season year round.

Only in season (which is coming up shortly, if I'm not mistooken).  Note, only on state game lands; no fair cheating by going to conventions ("canned" hunts, dontchano...)

Why would you hunt furries?

They're a pain in the ass to clean, their meat is usually greasy and full of parasites and diseases, and there's no real way to cook them up well.

Plus they're shitty trophies.

At least skinning them should be a relatively simple matter.
Link Posted: 9/26/2013 4:19:29 PM EDT
[#7]
Why would you even want to?

They have no value as trophies (too silly looking) or as food (they stink) and in some states they're counted as human,

so you're not allowed to shoot them.

They also don't run or evade well enough to be a challenge.

So what's the point?

To sell their pelts on the internet.

It will be a never ending cycle.

Ya know... I thought I could find a picture of someone who had mounted the head of a fursuit like a deer or something. I thought it would be funny. It's too late for me now. But, if you value your sanity then, for the love of God, DO NOT search for "furry" anything with the filters turned off.

Wally World is selling stamps like duck stamps, they are $12.50 here in Al, considered varmints, open season 24\7, no bag limit, any caliber.  If you buy a Brony stamp at the same time you get them both for $15.00, same rules apply.

Might have to pick up a Brony stamp.

I noticed some strange hoof like prints near my chicken coop, they appeared to be laced with cheeto dust.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure searching with the term "Mounted Furry", would be a horrible idea. The results would probably melt your brain.

Furries are known for their thin flammable pelts.  It is important to leave as little damage as possible for resale purposes.

CBU-87 combined effect cluster bomb.

Each bomblet uses both fragmentation and incendiary effects.

Rip to shreds and burn in place.

That is a waste.

Their pelts are very expensive and their meat is high in fat.

Don't search for licensed photos of wildlife for projects with the filters off, either.

How I first found out about those. "Why the fuck are there porn drawings of childrens' animal cartoons"?  Sick, sick people.

From what I've heard, though, at least they're very unlikely to breed.

It's OK for a good 10 months out of the year.  Around this time though, Furry season ends, and doesn't pick back up until Early November.

Apparently, too many people in halloween costumes have been shot over the years.

Good question. I keep trying to convince PETA that the furries use actual fur, so far it hasn't worked.

But if I can get it to work, the hilarity will be epic

CSI Vegas, and it was pretty stupid, idiot furry pisses off his girlfriend, she hits him with her car, then he runs into the bushes on the side of the road, Farmer Jones nearby thinks it's a coyote and shoots him, then goes to bed, the girlfriend has a head-on collision with a semi, loses.

goofy all the way around.

Pretty sure it was supposed to be goofy - they always did at least one episode a season that was not meant to be drama.

That episode was where I first heard about yiffing.  I still shudder.

If furry conventions had as many hot chicks as CSI showed, I would totally go.

Unfortunately, it's just TV.
