So I'm looking for some user friendly video software for my gopro. Nothing too fancy I just want to add some music in the background, effects, and to put clips together.
What are my options?

It's a HD GoPro Hero 2 also, if that helps!

For something that simple, you can download Movie Maker for free:

GoPro just released the latest version of their studio software a week or so ago.  i put a video together on it, but it wouldn't export due to issues with drivers or intel integrated video or something, so i ended up re-creating it in windows live movie maker.  it'll let you put music to it but i don't know what the issues are with youtube and permissions so i just left the audio as-is in the shots.  this was done with two GoPro Hero2 HD and wifi backpac.
