so Morgan didn't want to talk about it. Why, apparently he thinks hand guns are less deadly than an assault riffle. Aren't they though? I mean, dead is dead, and any bullet is capable (shot placement). But even though the antis are just that...anti, they see the assault rifle as more of a threat since the bullets are bigger, and the damage is greater. That's a fact. If you don't think so, Old Painless has some tests that he can share with you. So while it would seem fitting to point to each and every gun crime and scream up and down, they are choosing the battles they fight. It makes sense strategically to them. |

Wow. 5 replies and only one person who bothers to read. This, in a nutshell, is why Americans are going to lose their freedom: If you're too lazy to read 5 to 10 paragraphs, how can you possibly be trusted when you say you know your rights? Because, believe you me, the Constitution is a damn sight longer than my post, and if you can't be bothered to read anything longer than a DVD label you are too lazy to be free. You people make me ashamed to be American. |

Wow. 5 replies and only one person who bothers to read. Read what, how wrong you are? An AR-15 was not used in the Navy Yard shooting. ETA And I believe the current narrative is that the shooter brought the shot gun and acquired the handguns from security guards. I may be wrong on that point, but I'm not the one starting long-ass threads with wrong information. EATA I'm of the opinion that specific incidents in, say, Chicago never get any mention is because the specific incidents paint an unwanted picture: the "kids" involved are actually late-teen street entrepreneurs; violence is largely gang/drug related, just the "cost of doing business" so to speak; the actors are often minorities while the gun grabbers like to paint a picture of violent white racists; firearms are generally acquired through straw purchases by new gang members / gang girlfriends that don't have records, or are stolen (never mind that straw purchases and theft are already illegal). But on a statistical whole, it is very convenient to say "hundreds of black children were killed last year" without being held to exactly why these kids were killed or by whom. |

That was horribly written and very hard to read. Please learn the meaning of double quotes ( " ) and stop abusing it. There are buttons for bold, italics, and underline in the post interface if you need to add emphasis to your posts.
Also, organize your thoughts. You are all over the place. |

Quoted: Well of COURSE! I want people to take to the streets, but they won't. What, and miss Honey Boo Boo? Nah. In 20 years this will be the next Soviet Union just because most people were too apathetic, lazy, and afraid to fight for their freedom. |

Do you know the internet has more that a few people on it with their own opinions? Do you realize that more than yourself have written lengthy "cures" to our problems? Calm down and do something for the cause. I would suggest taking a deep breath and following a peer's lead because you told us all to kiss your ass when this wasn't even on page 2 yet. |
