Saw them yesterday. It stood out because it's the only tree in the area that's turned color yet. Pretty unusual to see it here this early.

Has it started in your area yet?

It'll be another month or so before we see any changes. Then again, this has been the weirdest summer I can remember, with 15 inches of rain in July when we usually get almost no rain at all, so all bets are off.

My dog wood trees are already turning here in the upstate of SC...wonder how the rain will affect the colors this year...55 inches of rain this year.

There are some maples up the road that were planted a few years ago near a failed neighborhood.  They started turning weeks ago, and have been extremely early every year.

ETA:  Dogwoods, especially old ones, have been turning for the past week or so.

started in western WA a couple weeks ago on some species of trees, yep it is early.

The Bloodhound/Lab is starting to get his winter coat already, early for that also.

Been noticing some trees starting to turn colors around here for the past couple f weeks.  Not due to lack or water, as we've had plenty of rain this year.  And the apple trees are overloaded and starting to drop now, which is very early as well.  Coupled with all the solid black wooly worms people are reporting and I think we've got an early arriving, hard winter headed out way this year.
