Guys, i am 1 week into a 3 week camping trip and have developed some kind of rash. If anyone can identify and recommend a treatment that would be awesome. The rash doesn't itch or burn. It isn't raised or scaly as far as I can tell.
Thanks in advance! http://imgur.com/R4u48B5 |
| Try some 1% hydrocortisone cream. If it's a dermatitis/heat rash/irritation/allergy, the hydrocortisone will probably clear it up. If it's a yeast, like tinea species, the hydrocortison may make it worse. If that happens, switch to clotrimazole (lotrimin). If neither helps, or you start to get fevers, muscle and joint aches, or swollen glands, go see a doctor. |

I don't think that is any form of tinea. Usually more of a raised profile than what you posted. Isn't going to hurt to slather it with lotrimin though. Quoted:
