Watching it on Netflix, hadn't seen most of the episodes since I was 7 and it was a new show, so I don't remember much. A couple questions-
1.Just started the last season, and am pretty unimpressed compared to the earlier seasons. Is season 4 worth bothering with? 2. Do they end up saying whether String died after leaving the hospital or is he simply not on the show anymore? Most episodes in the first 3 seasons were almost as good as I remembered them from watching them at 7 and then talking about it at school. Season 4, based on the first episode? At least the helicopter's still in it. |

I used to watch that show alot when it was in syndication. 1-3 was great, and I always loved it. But when season 4 hit, then it was time to do something else. I just didn't like the route they took it. It was supposed to a an aircraft that only a couple of people had access to. But in season 4, it seemed like everyone and their mother had it. The supercomputers in the cave was pretty hokey too, IMO. So that's why I bought seasons 1-3, but never even looked at 4. Just my $.02... |

The budget was so small they couldn't afford to use the actual helicopter, they recycled footage for the flying scenes. No, it is not worth watching. Airwolf vs Blue Thunder? Airwolf of course, but I actually liked Blue Thunder more (movie version at least). Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Lots sound good based on the short Netflix description but Godfather 3 sounded good based on description too. |

It should have never existed, it should not be watched, it's a travesty to what the original was. That said......I don't intend to spend money on 4th season unless it's really down in price. That said, three things. Here and there, it did have an item of merit, but they are very few and far inbetween. It is interesting, of course, to see semi major actors in early parts. And finally, it adds to this trivia question: Actors who worked for Belasario creations during the 70's and 80's often showed up in two of his flying machines. Barry Van Dyke flew a Viper and Airwolf. Rick of Magnum fame flew a Corsair and a Viper. But who is the one actor who was air crew of all three machines, Corsair, Viper, and Airwolf? ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ ("And it looks like we are last year's model!"--Airwolf pilot Locke about to go air to air, (w,stte), "Airwolf II") |

WK Stratton... Bill CORRECT! Of course, I have asked that question before, here (potential spoilers). Quoted:

WK Stratton... Bill Beat, dammit. Did he fly an F14 in JAG, too? That guy must owe his hole life to Bellisario. I don't know. I only watched JAG when I had to. In any event, as a 1995 show, it's outside the realm of the trivia question. ______________________________________________________________________________________ ("Correct.......,"--Nancy, (w,stte), "Win Ben Stein's Money") |

Up until a few years ago my local hospital used a 222 for LifeFlight. Everytime he'd land at the airport for fuel or maintenance the Airwolf theme would start playing in my head. I think the 222 is one of the best looking rotorwings out there. The triple-duece is a sexy machine! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

The general fate of Stringfellow Hawk was that he died in terms of Season 4 setup.
Too bad the 222 used for the Airwolf production crashed on a medical flight. One of the funny facts about Airwolf. They had to stop using the phrase "Chain Guns." They got sued by Hughes because of that. If you can find it, there is a collection of music from Airwolf was released on a limited scale. |

I liked that show, that Stringfellow Guy is a complete fuck'in mess now I suppose one gets use to the massive unreal, illogical flying fickle finger of fate situations in the acting business............. ..........BUT STILL, that must really grind at your bones when the star of a rather successful show, your paycheck, is the primary reason why it gets canceled. According to rumor, said star was showing up to shoot drunk and unprepared and the former was showing up on the screens of America TV. I never saw all of the 3rd season to be able to be entirely sure to myself if that was what was happening.............but there were times when he played the hurt, rather out of it, hero just a little too well. SIGH........oh well.......and was this the only situation of the star bombing it for all? Well, remember the TV pilot "Frogmen"? _________________________________________________________________________________________ ("It's time for another award of The Flying Fickle Finger of Fate!"--Dan Rowan, (w,stte),"Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In") |

| Now that I think of it, wasn't there something late in the season about one or more of the stars being in a real helicopter crash too? For some reason I seem to remember my parents telling me about that at the time-or maybe I'm just thinking about the crash after Airwolf became a medical bird. |
