At some point in the last few days, there's been a change in the way my browser handles Arfcom's URLs. If I scroll to any point in a thread and refresh, it goes to that point as usual. If I quote a post, the URL shown is the one that would be used if I clicked the "link to this post" link, and every time I refresh, my browser goes back to that post every time.

Is anybody else having this problem, and is there a setting I can select on my end to put an end to that?

My Firefox has done that for months, and I don't know why it decided to do it again either.

On really fast moving threads I post by opening a new tab, closing it, and refreshing the original - or reopening the page and page down to the end where I can refresh again, without going back to the same place over and over again.

Does the behavior change if you use a different browser?

When it starts to fuck up, press the red "clear bookmark" button on the bottom right of the page.  This will take you back to page one, but after you get back to your spot refreshes will work normally.

Maybe I should also mention that I don't see a clear bookmark option anywhere.

Perhaps it's off your screen and you need to scroll over there ->
