After 4 very long dusk til dawn days of driving, hiking and walking, I succeeded in killing my first deer.  One shot to the lungs and on kill shot to the head.  Not the biggest in the world but it will do for my first.  Measured 18 inches wide and 16 inches high.

you cant put a .html file in a IMG tag. you either need to make it URL or change out the HTML file to the appropriate image file .jpg, .gif, .bmp, ect.

Nice deer!!!

The problem with your pic not showing up is your image link points to a webpage, and not an image.

Try this: www.hunting-pictures.com/members/medicmandan/Deer%20Season%202002%20013.jpg

...instead of this: www.hunting-pictures.com/members/medicmandan/index.html

Was able to view the photo at the hunting-pictures site.
Congratulations.
Good that you got that one.  It looks haunted to me.

nice deer!!!

just a comment:
give the animal it's dignity back when you take the picture by cleaning up the blood and closing it's mouth.

Nice looking deer.  Got my first deer four years ago with a muzzleloader.  I couldn't tell whether I hit him or not for about two minutes - took that long for the smoke to clear.  I was shaking so badly after the shot I shook the ramrod out of the muzzleloader!  When I stop getting that feeling I'll quit hunting.
