I ordered from GT and there is no LE pricing for 6920's. Price is $995.95 for everyone including general public and they are taking backorders and who knows how long the wait time is now..

Dammit, man! Now I'm going to spend my week trying to scrounge up an extra $1100. (Tax)

Seems like everyone is out of standard 6929's and the MOE version. Might as well got on a list; for $995 can't beat the price.

If Colt wants to reclaim the private market they are on the right track. Quality, Heritage, Price  and Distribution.

If you want a genuine Colt 6920 grab it while you can. I know a person who's name I will not reveal bought 10 just months prior to the December incident. Sold nine at $2900.00, tried keeping one for himself but was offered $5000.00 so he sold it.

LOL!!!!

None in stock.

When was the last time they had ANY in stock at that price?

Also, even if you did get one at that price.  After shipping and FFL fees, you're close to Walmart's $1,099 OTD.

$1495 at my local WalMart right now.  I bought one for $1095 last year and recently sold it for $1500.  I wouldn't mind getting another when prices come down a little more.

How does their pricing work? Is it done by district? By store? Does management get flexibility with certain items?

6920's are still pulling north of $1200 on Gunbroker.

Bet it was a 6900, which are ~$900.

No one wants to think about the additional fees.

Bought one today for $ 999.00 shipped. I will have to pay my FFL her $ 20.00, but I will not have to pay the almost $ 80.00 sales tax.

I'm looking forward to getting it. My first Colt.

Gainesville WM generally has 4-5 ARs of various brands/prices.
As the counter guy said, "We can get ARs; it's the ammo that  comes in and goes right back out".

That [$1495] is the Wally World price for the SOCOM.

I wouldn't want to buy a rifle manufactured during the panic.  I'd wait until they cleared the retail system.

Wow, that website shows a lot of lower prices on stuff.

The time to scoop up deals may almost be at hand.

Come on $500 SGL-21's and $50 lowers.

Found the latter, but I'm not posting it until I get my order finalized.

As a gun store owner and Colt dealer, the dealer prices were never $1,500.  There are several different "LE6920" configurations and some are more expensive than others.  We have never sold a Cold LE6920 for more than $1,399. Some are cheaper depending on the factory set up. Most are around $1,199.99.  We even have LE6920 MOE FDE rifles in stock for $1,399.99.  Availability has not improved as most Colt's go to fulfill military contracts.

Picked up a 6940 at the local Wally World today for $1,397. They had a 6920 Magpul Black for $1,197 and a 6920 SOCOM for $1,497. Also had a Bushmaster, Diamond Back? and a SIG in .308. No Ammo.

I guess I bought just a little too early.  I found a 6920-MOE in flat dark earth NIB from a dealer in Georgia on gun broker for $1,110 shipped with no CC fee or taxes 3 weeks ago.

I hadn't seen them that low in a long time.
