Didn't see a dupe.
Who's GD rooting for? |

If the NL gets a 1-2 run lead heading into the 8th, who thinks Melancon and Grilli from the Buccos could shut things down with the way they've been pitching all year? Grilli's father is the losing pitcher in the longest game ever played.
I am still surprised the Pirates got more than the one giveaway all-star position

National. I'm hoping for a Bravo to have a pinch hit HR. McCann? Yeah...I' would have loved for Freeman to be healthy. He gets around on the ball so fast. Me and my wife went to our first Braves game a couple weeks ago. We were sitting behind the home dugout and Freeman came up...I told her to stay on her toes and she looked at me all puzzled since Freddie hits lefty. He fouled a bullet directly over the dugout and nailed some fan a few rows down from us. But yes...McCann will have a clutch PH and Kimbrel will shut down the 3-4-5 hitters in the bottom of the 9th

National League of course. The DH ruins the game. National League all the way! Reds fan here btw. I agree with you that the DH ruins baseball...but I make an exception for the all star game. It is a showcase of the best talent in the league for the fans, this game isn't supposed to be about small ball. Though I do hate the fact that it decides WS home field advantage. |

I am still surprised the Pirates got more than the one giveaway all-star position The only questionable Pirates were McCutchen (but only because of a lack of homeruns) and Alvarez due to his low batting average. The 3 pitchers definitely earned their spots. |

But I think Freddie has a good career ahead of him and hopefully he isn't out too much after the break. Hell, Besides El Oso Blanco, Freeman is one of my favorites. |

He will definitely have a promising career as long as he is healthy...They don't let just anyone bat in the 3 spot for the Braves...you earn that spot. And Gattis is awesome...Hope he stays healthy as well...him and Puig are great stories for this season. |

I can see Citi Field outside of my bed room window.
I was outside watering my lawn about 35 minutes ago when I heard the low hum of helos. I turn and see 4 NYPD helos in formation flying right at me. I threw the hose in the air and told my four dags to run! As I lay in the fetal position awaiting to get shot K9d and ass raped they flew over. I got it on video but cant upload right now. |

Braves got a great team this year. I'm hoping for a good post-season I'm surprised at the bullpen not falling apart with Venters and O'Flaherty being out. If they are playing like they are now come this fall, I'll be happy. Me too. Anytime they have a good bullpen when some of their best are out. I was fortunate enough to atleast get to see Chipper play a game last year. I saw a couple of his minor league games when the Single-A team was in Macon. |
