What's the point of the internal weapons bay?


Looks like a door gunner might be a liability to hit a prop.

The fact that the entire nacelle doesn't rotate is a big advantage over the osprey.

I could ride this one to retirement.



It'll be between this and the Sikorsky X 2. The tilt-rotors seem like a lower risk but Sikorsky is promising a low price, so time will tell.

That's a really odd, Outside the Box promo video.  Doesn't really rub me the right way.

I prefer a dry narrator rattling off some facts while they show a straight animation or actual film of the system.     Making it look like a movie just doesn't sit right with me.

I thought it was quite stupid.

It'll be interesting to see where the other services go with tilt rotor technology.
