Why are people being mass-drugged without consent? Flossing, brushing, and mouthwashing work just fine in preventing cavities. Remember that when fluoride was first being put into water that most people didn't brush their teeth as regularly nor were tooth products and cleaning as advanced.

Flouride ingested by kids <8 when teeth are developing is beneficial; beyond that it doesn't do any good. Flouride in drinking water isn't the substitute for proper dental hygiene that many people think it is.
Being the year 2013 we have cheap toothbrushes, cheap tooth paste and Flouride pills for the childins. Even the poorest of the poor can get free tooth brushes and toothpaste. |

Fluoridation of municipal water, and voting for egalitarian asswipes, is a definite trend. I just hope that someone doesn't discover some compound that improves "Brain function", and gets it mandated to be injected into the Hoodrats water supply. First of all, Fluoride was first discovered in natural fresh water sources. Secondly, you should stop eating eggs 
Thirdly, some mouthwashes intentionally contain fluoride (As a dental worker I use one exclusively every night). Lastly, I would like to ask you why dental professionals think fluoride plays a key role in proper dental care. The ppm content of fluoride in water treatment programs rivals what you ingest through fluoride containing foods. Truthfully, what you are doing is what those who bitch about radiation from X-ray's do. They bitch about the radiation exposure, yet don't realize they get more background radiation absorption from the sun alone -- forget about their cellphones -- within a matter of 2 hours, than they do from the average digital x-ray. |

First of all......why the hell wouldn't you use Listerine as it is recommended? Ingesting that is toxic. The reason why it is toxic is because it's an antimicrobial.......it contains fucking alcohol. NOT FLUORIDE. Go chug a bottle of isopropyl, I heard it will clean your wounds from the inside out.

I'm 35 and have perfect teeth and gums. I brush and floss daily. I drink massive amounts of city water and no ill effects. I never get sick and have not missed a day of work in 14 years.
On a side not my dentist has a device that measures your teeth's hardness on a scale of 1 to 30, 1 being the hardest. All my teeth are 1's. I also got a 3.9 GPA and top 10% in my class of 500+. Fluoride is safe and good stuff and anyone saying otherwise is a moron with bad teeth and bad breath.

| I think the whole water conservation thing is actually a fluoride conservation. Fluoride is, after all, a byproduct of the manufacture of aluminum. Manufacturing has been nearly dead in this country for years. Earth is 70% covered in water and desalination can be achieved for as little as $0.04 / person / day. We didn't start putting it in the water supply until right after we acquired the Nazi scientists who had been using it to subdue those incarcerated in concentration camps. |
