Why is the Glock 25 not offered for sale in the US?

No I don't want one. I'm just curious what the reasoning is.

IIRC they didn't meet the BATF's import point limits.

Google is your damn friend.  Oddly enough when you search for Glock 25 damn near every hit goes into detail on why it isn't legal in the US.

That has nothing to do with a .380 Glock.

They do not have enough "import points".

LE agencies can order them... but what's the point!

Alaskans can buy them at the grocery store

IIRC there was someone on GT a few years ago that said due to the blowback system, it had just as much recoil as the g19, not to mention it is the same size, capacity, and fires a weaker, more expensive round.  i believe they are made for countries that allow gun ownership, but not "military calibers"  As dumb as it is that they are not legal here, there really is nothing that they have to offer over a g19.

It is the law (import points), you have to buy your Glock in a more lethal caliber.

unless it's significantly thinner than a g19, GTFO

Too many numbers. Can't keep track of all that stuff. I can keep track of the 19 and the 17, but that's about it. They need to give them descriptive names. Like Glock 10mm big, and Glock 40 little.

It's not a sporting pistol per the BAFT.
DanTSX, wtf man. I thought you were cool.
