What is a good email app for the android system?  Specifically for a tablet.  Free or paid.

For Exchange based email I don't think you can beat Touchdown.  Its as close to Outlook like functionality I've seen.  Have it on my Samsung S4 and Tab 10.1.   Can also get a version for iDevices too now.  here

I used to use Touchdown before our IT department allowed Android devices to access our exchange server.

Ever since they let Android users in I have been using the stock email client.
