Posted this in the retro but thought some of yall might like these too

Was going through some old pics and saw these and thought i'd post them up again for the retro guys. All had M4 barrels and CAR stocks except for one that had an M4 stock and tube.

And one modern for fun.

And Deer!!

Neat.

I carried a converted A1 ("auto" and "A1" scratched out and "burst" and "A2" etched in, seemingly by a pocketknife) with a standard A2 upper and M203. There are some odd ducks in AF armories.

Wonder if any of those started out their lives as XM-177s? The AF supposedly updated all those guns with M-4 barrels. And from those photos it looks like the AF's stockpile of M-16s is being converted to the M-4 configuration as well.
