I went to turn it on and it won't load Windows. I tried starting it in safe mode and it loaded once but I can't get it to do it again. I tried restoring it to an earlier point but it won't let me.
Any ideas? Pc is a Toshiba satellite that is 5 years old. I upgraded to Windows 7 a year or so ago. |
| Possibly a corrupt .Dll file of some type but iits hard to find out what it is if system restore wont work it sucks..if you have no back up disks you could try to get the windows ultimate boot disk or something similar...if cant boot in safe mode/ or reinstall the original windows disk and do "repair mode"...just take it to a local computer store as am sure they can fix it but will cost you..good luck. |

Buy: Something on sale and HDD dock Retrieve: OldFiles ---------- You can probably fix it, and get stuff off yourself... BUT... you're probably better off over a couple years old to just replace and pull the old files, IMO. If you don't buy bleeding edge, it's not that expensive. |

Hello tothemax. You can go to worldstart.com and look in their hardware section. They have a file transfer kit that allows you to remove the hard drive and connect it to another computer. It will show up as an additional removable drive simply do a drag and drop with the files you want to keep. It is called a one touch backup using usb 2'0 to data/use device. I think I paid $10-12 for it. Real handy kit for several potential problems common to computer users. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. Hope it helps. 44
