Oh yeah, this is exactly the incentive I need to get that cool 16" long carbine tube (covers the whole barrel).  I already have the carbine tube, and it's great.

This company is a new sponsor we recently picked up. Anybody have a Firsh handguard set installed w/ an opinion as to how well it works?

I can attest that any jackass (i.e., me) with a set of receiver blocks and an armorer's wrench can install this thing.  [You should have a torque wrench, too, as with any barrel nut installation.]  I've taken it shooting and it seems pretty solid (I have the carbine length and just bought the 16 inch "long carbine" model to mount on my .458 SOCOM upper when it comes in.

I can't compare it to Les Baer or Knights, but it is fine for me.
