OK, Spawn vs Superman  

Spawn:  Near immortal resurrected Special Forces soldier with the ability to raise the dead, teleport and summon instruments of death through his own body. Draws strength from the evil of the world and can manipulate minds. Has defeated both God and the Devil
              Spawn cannot be killed by mortal means, only by the hand of or items blessed by God himself or in holy sites such as in churches.  
Superman:  Faster than a speeding bullet, able to change clothes in tight spaces  such as telephone booths, fly, superhuman strength and x-ray vision.  Has defeated Lex Luthor and Mister Mxyzptlk

Let's see.   If this were to become a real comic book, it would end in a draw, but during the fighting the REAL bad guy would show up, and they would have to team up to defeat the dastardly villain that made them fight in the first place.  They would then share a glass of milk at the end.

Then Batman would show up and take out both of them.  How?  He just does.

Also, it depends on who the writer is.

There is a Spawn/Batman comic;  Frank Miller wrote it

In all honesty I cannot see how Superman would win in a fight against Spawn.  

Hell Spawn would just use his demonic mind control and make Superman rip his own head off.  As for Superman going back in time, Spawn can teleport and is a demon; time itself has no meaning to the minions of Hell.
