Are we being pulled down, or pushed down, or ?

Pulled

and it's relative

The universe hates pointy elbows and we're all just attracted to large masses?

Pulled inward.

Gravitons, warping of spacetime, something else?  Who knows.

In the morning(AM), pulled down, in the afternoon(PM) pushed down!

Feels like it some days, M thru F

From looking in the mirror I'm going with being pulled outward.

You are simply following the natural local curvature in spacetime, and the ground beneath you is resisting.

Our mass is attracted to the Earth's mass and the Earth's mass is attracted to our mass.  Relatively speaking.

Chuck Norris defies gravity because no one can dare tell him that he must obey the laws of gravity.

and at a inversely proportional rate, based on the distance.

it all has to do with the mass and distances involved.

This.

The mass of the Earth warps space, causing things to "fall" towards it. Think about a bowling ball sitting on a trampoline and how a marble placed on the trampoline will "fall" towards the bowling ball, except that is just a 2D warp and gravity is a warping in all three dimensions.

Gravity is one of the weakest forces in the universe, yet our world revolves around it.

It's the weakest of the big 4, but it also has the farthest range.  Significantly farther.

Harry, the answer is both.  You are pulled towards the Earth, and the Earth is very slightly pulled towards you.

According to Einstein space is pushing down on us…

This.  You are not being pushed or pulled down.  You and the Earth are pulling towards each other.  The Earth just happens to be way, way, way, way, way more massive, so it tends to win most of the time.

I used to believe in gravity.  Now that I'm older I understand that life sucks you down.
