I woke up this AM at 3:30 to see some power company worker in my yard with a flashlight looking at a transformer. The power was out, it turns out that this guy climbed up the pole and got warm and snuggly with about 3000 volts.

We had a county-wide blackout when a 6-foot black snack got across two contacts in the main substation.
