I don't know yet how I feel about this one. Last one was meh, this looks like a rehash of the first two. |

| I enjoyed Escape From Butcher Bay - it was a surprisingly good stealth-action game, and the ending was really cathartic after all that creebling around in the shadows. I love Pitch Black. The second movie was kind of lame, but I'm looking forward to the new one. |

Not sure if other people liked it but I liked Pitch Black. It was one of the few good sci-fi horror movies to come out after Aliens. I do not know why but sci-fi horror seems to be almost always become co-opted into scifi action....which is what happening in chronicles. |

VD pushed for that entire project, he had a lot of passion for it. He also stated he would not do the movie unless Judy Dench was in it. Judy stated she absolutely had no idea what the movie was about or who her character was, but she had fun doing it. Pitch Black is a dope movie. Chronicles of Riddick was kinda..riddickulous  . I didn't like it at all, outside of the badass action scenes.
I'll still watch this new one. |

| I loved Pitch Black. The cast was good, the world and production design had this great spartan quality to it. And it was a scifi horror movie that wasn't silly or stupid. Just a really well done movie. Chronicles was ok, but a big letdown for me, just because it was completely different. It was a kinda silly, over the top scifi action movie that seemed like it took place in a completely different universe. It seemed like a fantasy movie with scifi trappings. |

Pitch Black was quite a good Sci Fi movie: it was a new plotline, and showed some really good imagination. Not perfect, but still quite good. Ive watched it 4 or 5 times, probably. Chronicles of Riddick wasn't as good as Pitch Black, but the writers did come up with an interesting story, and the visuals of the Underverse ships and interiors were quite good. It lacked the energy and suspense of the first film, but the action was still good. Death by teacup was outstanding.  I love stuff like that. |
