I have several of them scattered around.  Very handy for a drawer or glovebox, and the adjustable beam is nice.  You won't be disappointed.

Just bought a Utilitech LED flashlight at Home Depot for $7.  100 lumens with good throw.   Like it.  Have a lot of high dollar flashlights, and this light is great for the money.

Just clicked one my way.

They aren't too bad to have around. Kinda crappy overall really, but they make light, and if they get lost or crushed, no snivels.

They get shipped directly from friggin Hong Kong....in 2 weeks.

Jerk it to illuminate with white, bright light.

I bought a metric shit ton of these things. Upgraded to the rechargeable high output batteries. VERY bright versus regular AA's.

warning

The reviews show that the listings for these flashlights (the other "versions" on amazon too) are not what you may actually get, and are improperly listed.

The vendors under the same listing are sending different versions of the flashlight.

Still, for $4.50, not a bad deal.

Kind of fat for a AA/14500 battery flashlight.  I prefer 16340s for small lights with bigger reflectors.  I figure a 14500 flashlight should be thin.

That said, it's a good price and I've got a bunch of 14500s so I bought one.

Thanks OP.

Shove in a box with Christmas gifts or if I sold something to somebody as a little thank you. Have one in each vehicle and tool box.

I bought several last year when they were about $8.

I use them with rechargeable Tenergy LiFePO4 batteries--much brighter.

My favorite EDC light.

Hell, I'll gamble $4.41 on that.

Thanks OP!

Got a pair at about that price also.   Not bad for the money.

If you're in a hot/cold area, you may want to put a Lithium battery into it instead of an Alkaline to prevent leaks (or a NiMH rechargeable).

ordered 2, not in a hurry so it'll probably be here in July.

I have a few of these laying around. I give them as gifts for Christmas and what not, great for people who don't know the difference between these and a real tactical flashlight.

That being said I use them for everything, and have yet to loose one, and if I ever do I won't be too disappointed. Hell the things cost less than the 123 batteries for my surfire
6/2/2013 7:10:09 PM EDT

EDCed one for a little over a year. Good kit, but the switch is starting to go. Darn, time to spend another 4-5 bucks.

No but use a quality battery not some off brand and you will be fine

Had an Energizer alkaline leak...this was in a glove box flashlight (single AA LED...probably 4 or 5 years old).    I sent the flashlight and battery to them (Actually had to drill a screw into the battery to extract it to see what brand)....they covered the flash light.

However....

The NiMH (rechargables...get the Low Self Discharge like Eneloops, etc. for longer storage) or Lithium batteries aren't prone to leakage.

I don't see much leakage with the better brand Alkalines...but it does happen, especially in 'poor' (hot/cold of a car glove box) storage conditions...
