Sorry for the shitty pic, best I could do last night.  I didn't not kill the snake, at first I thought he was killed by a car but upon further inspection it looks like some sort of raptor got to him.  This snake was found in mid CO.

Any dead snake is a good snake! Sorry i can't help with the ID.
I ran into so many Copperheads living in Myrtle Beach that it's just turned me into a total snake hater for life.

I hate snakes but they have their use.  Non venomous snakes get a pass unless they are big and hanging around the chicken coup while there are chicks around, even then I try to muster up the courage to remove them and take them a couple miles away.

looking at the head, id say poisonous. unless its been smashed..... hard to tell.  body looks like a rat snake.

It had been smashed, I do know it was not venomous.
