Any dead snake is a good snake! Sorry i can't help with the ID. I ran into so many Copperheads living in Myrtle Beach that it's just turned me into a total snake hater for life. I hate snakes but they have their use. Non venomous snakes get a pass unless they are big and hanging around the chicken coup while there are chicks around, even then I try to muster up the courage to remove them and take them a couple miles away. |

Sorry for the shitty pic, best I could do last night. I didn't not kill the snake, at first I thought he was killed by a car but upon further inspection it looks like some sort of raptor got to him. This snake was found in mid CO. https://imageshack.us/scaled/large/855/snakeg.jpg looking at the head, id say poisonous. unless its been smashed..... hard to tell. body looks like a rat snake. |

It had been smashed, I do know it was not venomous. |
