Do reporters that regularly cover the White House, State Department, DOD, etc ... routinely have security clearances and more importantly, "need to know"?



Seems like they ought not have any security clearance. Cleared, maybe, but access to classified information, never. Atleast that is what I think.

The pleasure of being briefed on classified operations and then lying to the American people is not bestowed on the press in this country.

The administration gets to do that.
