I won't go so far as to blame Fed Ex, because one employee isn't a good representation of a company, but I just watched from my desk as the fed-ex man pulled in front of our place. Our house number is on the frame of the gate, he was right in front of it. I opened the door and watched him make a u-turn and drive away, probably going to claim he couldn't find the place or something.
I'm pissed because he had an order of special food for my daughter. Now I have to run to the local market and pay 3 times as much for something that's not as good, then find out who to call to make sure he actually drops it off tomorrow... or lose a day of work to make a road trip that I really don't want to do. Too many lazy people in this country, take no pride in their work. |

| Last week I watched DHL get ready to drop off a 27 inch monitor I ordered from Korea at a house that wasn't even remotely close to my address a street over. Thank God my wife spotted his van to start with or the people down the street would have a nice new $400 monitor if I hadn't raced over to stop him. The shithead just handed it to me there after I sprinted to him, not wanting to be bothered to drive it back to my house. I had to carry the big fucker all the way home. |
