| I think he is an ordinary guy. I don't think he handles the media well, but that is a learned skill, and not one to practice under crisis and he certainly has had crisis forced upon him. He is, by his resume, highly experienced, highly educated and certainly has all the prerequisites for command. I am not bothered that he is not a great orator under this kind of stress. I empathize with him. I would venture that this past week he has had very little sleep and is trying to inform the public without jeapordizing their investigation, never an easy balancing act. He has overall done as well as one could expect of anyone. He was not hired to be a public speaker and would probably do well to speak through a trained public information officer. |
