Aside from being a typical Hollywood Liberal scum bag, didn't he produce a real (non spoof) political ad against George W Bush around the 2004 election?
I've done several searches for it but the only hits are his failed attempts at humor. Anyone know more details about the serious political ad? If I recall correctly, Farrell got pretty personal in it. |

If he's cast properly, I think he's pretty funny. But in my mind, as an actor, he's a one trick pony. Even though he plays different roles in different movies, he still comes across as Will Ferrell if that makes any sense. Some movies are good, some are just horrible and he always brings the same acting ability to the table. No real depth.

I think of him as the modern Jim Carrey...
He had a small handful of funny movies early in his career but he quickly became one-note then tried his hand at serious roles with disastrous results. Now he's just kind of "there" and doing anything he can to resuscitate his dead career. |

He's good in The Pursuit of Happiness and The Legend of Bagger Vance. I'm not sure what your point is here......... none of those are like Fresh Prince (maybe MIB is the closest) and shows much diversity in his style. |
